Description

Alexander The Great and Roman Officer Boot Leggings.  These were called 'cothurnus' by the Greeks and provided extra grip on the horse's flanks.  Used by Greek Officers as well as Roman Officers who usually both rode horse back.  Roman Emperors are almost always seen wearing these.
